These Terms govern your use of JG Financial Services's website and your engagement of our accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services. By contacting us, engaging our services, or using this site, you agree to these Terms.
Engagement letter
Each engagement is governed by a separate written engagement letter that defines the specific scope of work, responsibilities, and fees. Where these Terms and a signed engagement letter differ, the engagement letter controls for that engagement.
No guarantee of outcomes
We prepare returns and provide guidance based on applicable law and the information you provide. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific tax outcome, refund amount, or result. Positions taken are subject to review by the IRS and state tax authorities.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documentation you provide. Our work relies on that information. You agree to provide records in a timely manner and to review deliverables before they are filed or relied upon.
Fees and payment
Fees for each engagement are set out in the applicable engagement letter and are due as described there. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted under North Carolina law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount of fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, except where greater liability is required by law. We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Disputes not resolved informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
